OPERATING OF INDUSTRIAL EVAPORATIVE COOLERS

Industrial evaporative coolers operate based on the principle of adiabatic evaporation. Warm external air is drawn into the unit and passed through evaporative cooling pads made of cellulose or treated PVC, which are continuously kept wet by a water circulation system supplied from the internal tank. As the air passes through the wet media, water evaporates, absorbing heat and producing cooled air.
The cooled air is then distributed into the environment through roof-mounted or wall-mounted diffusers, or through ducted systems. The system can operate in:

  • Cooling mode, ideal when the external air is warm and relatively dry;
  • Ventilation mode, providing air exchange during milder periods.
