CARTRIDGE FILTER OPERATION
Contaminated air enters the filter through a settling chamber or tangential inlet and, through decantation or cyclonic effect, is pre-separated from the heavier particles.
These particles fall directly into the hopper below, where they are collected and discharged through a screw conveyor or rotary valve, ensuring a continuous and controlled discharge process.
The remaining airflow, containing finer particles, then passes through the filter cartridges from the outside to the inside, allowing effective filtration and the release of purified air through the filter outlet.
To maintain cartridge efficiency, the filter is equipped with an automatic reverse pulse cleaning system: short pulses of compressed air are injected inside the cartridges, facilitating the removal of deposited particles and extending the service life of the filtering elements.
