Contaminated air initially enters a settling chamber, where the increased volume reduces air velocity, allowing the heavier particles to fall into the lower hopper.

In versions equipped with a screw conveyor and rotary valve, the collected dust is automatically and continuously discharged, ensuring efficient removal or recovery.

The airflow containing finer particles then passes through the filter bags from the outside to the inside. Dust particles are retained on the surface of the filter bags, while the cleaned air is discharged through the outlet.

To maintain optimal filtration efficiency, the filter is equipped with either a mechanical shaking system or an automatic reverse pulse cleaning system. Short pulses of compressed air are injected into the filter bags, facilitating the removal of accumulated dust and extending the service life of the filtering elements.
