These are the principles behind the journey of AERIS S.R.L., an Italian company specialised in the design and manufacture of industrial air treatment systems. AERIS solutions include systems for filtration, extraction, ventilation, air conditioning, humidification, evaporative cooling, energy recovery and controlled contamination environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was created with a clear objective: to improve the efficiency of industrial humidification systems by reducing energy and water consumption in production processes that require accurate control of environmental conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development activities included fluid-dynamic modelling and simulation studies aimed at optimising humidity distribution and improving system performance in industrial environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The value of the IHS\u00ae project has also been acknowledged at European and international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, the project received the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 programme, a distinction awarded to project proposals positively evaluated for quality, impact and level of innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, IHS\u00ae was subsequently funded through the SME Instrument of the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 programme, under Grant Agreement no. 811349.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technology was also included in the Solar Impulse Foundation\u2019s Solutions Explorer, an international initiative dedicated to selecting and promoting technological solutions focused on environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is a member of ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, and a supporting member of ANTIM, the Italian National Association of Milling Industry Technicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
